The Cygnus Loop
05/21/2013

The Cygnus Loop. My most ambitious and deepest image to date. 12 hours worth of data, 20 minutes at a time over a period of a couple of weeks. 200mm is a wide wide field! Narrow band, tweaked to get the best contrast.

Epilogue: This image was featured in the Reader Gallery of the December 2015 issue of Astronomy Magazine.
