Peek-a-boo Moon

After a long hiatus from shooting the moon, I shot this on a whim. No computer, just the hand controller on a Paramount, and no computer controlled camera, just a DSLR with manual controls. Old School...

I call it peek-a-boo moon because at the bottom there are some mountains and crater peaks poking up out of the darkness to just catch the sunlight.

I was also pleased with the sublte color variations in the Maria that came out with this refractor. Some of the ray features are quie intricate as well.
