Normally I can't get any astrophotography done in the summer months in Florida. Sometimes we do get clear skies for an hour or just just as the sungoes down, and luck was with me this year for the Jupiter-Venus Conjunction in June of 2015. I setup a 1000mm refractor in my front driveway on a Paramount MYT and shot with a Canon DSLR. No computer control other than an iPad to slew the mount. I was pretty pleased that not only could I see Jupiter and its mooons, but the GRS as well. Io and Europa were so close together, I thought when I saw them that camera shake had made one of the moons show up twice!
